Managing Partner
Peter Regan is the Firm’s Managing Partner and oversees its Land Use and Litigation practice groups. He also serves as the Town Solicitor for the Town of Middletown, Rhode Island. He has over 25 years of experience representing a wide range of individual, commercial and institutional clients in the areas of land use & development, business & commercial law and civil & commercial litigation in both the state and federal courts. Peter uses his skills to help clients find practical solutions to complex problems, and to assist them in making the most of their opportunities. In land use matters, Peter helps client to navigate the complicated and often overlapping process of obtaining state and local zoning, historic and environmental approvals
A former prosecutor and municipal judge, Peter has lectured before the Rhode Island State Police Training Academy and local Police Departments regarding the prosecution of DWI cases, and was a guest speaker at the Rhode Island Judiciary Conference on Drunk Driving Laws. He is a frequent speaker on matters relating to land use & zoning, real estate litigation and other issues.
When not assisting clients, Peter can be found surfing, snowboarding and traveling with his family.

- Development approvals for the adaptive reuse of the former Triplett Elementary School in Newport, Rhode Island into 26 residential dwelling units.
- Zoning, historic and coastal approvals for the restoration and additions to the historic Beechwood and Beacon Rock estates in Newport, Rhode Island.
- Master Plan approvals for 57 Unit, multi-site affordable housing project in Middletown, Rhode Island.
