As chair of the Litigation Department, Peter maintains an active and diverse civil trial practice, representing clients across the country in cases involving commercial litigation, personal injury and admiralty. In 1986, Peter became Rhode Island’s youngest judge when he was appointed to the Probate Court. A former prosecutor, he has taught at the Rhode Island State Police Academy and has written and lectured on numerous trial issues.
